NFL betting tips: Kansas City Chiefs to rout Raiders, Cleveland’s luck to run out

Week 12 was not kind to Sports News Blitz, going zero for four in our NFL picks.

The Cleveland Browns picked up their biggest win of the season, outpointing the Pittsburgh Steelers to pick up their third win of the season.

Elsewhere, the Kansas City Chiefs scraped yet another win, being held till late in the fourth quarter. A 33-yard run from Patrick Mahomes helped set up a game-winning field goal in the dying seconds of the game.

Despite a bruised ego, NFL tipster Sam Condy is back once again and hoping for some better luck after identifying some top SkyBet picks ahead of Week 13.

Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers

Tua Tagovailoa’s return from injury looks to have provided the Miami Dolphins with a desperately-needed offensive boost.

The QB threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns to lead his side to a massive 34-15 win over the Patriots last week.

The Dolphins need to build on the victory if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

However, they often struggle around this time of the season, with the cold conditions during their away games far from the tropical climate the outfit are used to in Florida.

Regardless of last week's success, the weather advantage should fall in favour of the Packers, allowing them to cruise to an easy win.

Suggested bet: Green Bay Packers (-3.5) @ 10/11

Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were back to winning ways in week 12, with a 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers.

However, once again it took them till deep into the fourth quarter to secure the win - a trend that is becoming all-too common for the Kansas side.

The Chiefs were victorious against the Raiders in Week 8, and we should expect the same result this week.

The Raiders have been hopeless this season. They possess arguably the worst offence in the NFL, last in EPA (Expected Points Added) per play.

The Chiefs should have no issue this week, and will likely subject the Raiders to a one-sided walloping on Friday.

Suggested bet: Kansas City Chiefs (-12.5) @ 10/11

San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have been almost unstoppable this year, currently sitting at 9-2 as they move into Week 13.

Bills’ QB Josh Allen has proved instrumental in their success. The MVP favourite has completed 64% of his passes this season, throwing for 2,543 yards and 18 touchdowns.

On the other side of the coin, the 49ers have had a tough run this season. The San Francisco side have lost their last two, currently sitting dead last in the NFC West.

The Bills should have no trouble covering the spread this week, and the 49ers look in line to face yet another soul-crushing defeat.

Suggested bet: Buffalo Bills @ 2/7

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos

The Cleveland Browns are coming off the back of a shock win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be hoping to upset the odds once more as they take on the Denver Broncos this week.

Despite their massive win last week, the Browns will be fighting an uphill battle against a winning Broncos side.

The Broncos have looked solid on defence this season and should be able to contain a disorganised Cleveland side without much issue.

Further adding to their threat, Denver’s rookie QB Bo Nix appears to have found his form in the last few weeks, throwing for 11 touchdowns through the last five.

I wouldn’t hedge my bets on the Browns to create another upset this week. As they say, lightning doesn’t strike twice.

Suggested bet: Denver Broncos (-5.5) @ 5/6

I’ve refrained from any optimistic picks this week, instead trying to play for the accumulator. The odds may look slightly disappointing but the risk/reward ratio is very promising this week.

Accumulator odds: 7.59/1
