John and Thady Gosden’s grey, Field of Gold, has been given a Timeform rating of 132p following his superb display in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
As the highest-rated miler since Baaeed, Field of Gold has firmly established himself in the elite category and will be one of the favourites at a much-anticipated Sussex Stakes.

Field of Gold has shot to the head of Timeform's three-year-old pecking order after earning a rating of 124p (from 122p) for his emphatic victory in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh on Saturday 24 May.
He scored by three and three-quarter lengths, making him the widest-margin winner of the Irish Guineas since his own sire Kingman scored by five lengths in 2014.
